Are you ready for the reunion? We are!

Further down on this page you’ll find the signup form for the reunion activities. Whether you’re only going to the Friday night (August 16) mixer at the Stanley Beer Hall, want to attend only the reunion dinner at Valley Country Club on Saturday night (August 17), or will maximize the time with your old friends by attending both nights, we need this information from you so we can prepare the best possible experience!

We have negotiated the best possible prices for the reunion! Please plan on attending; we’re not getting any younger, and this may be your last opportunity to meet up with friends from 50 years ago. 😳

Stanley Beer Hall – August 16, 2024 – 4 to 7 PM

It’s the mixer! All of the drinks and food are on your dime for this event. The way the Stanley Beer Hall works is that you’ll receive a “card” that you can then use to purchase drinks by the ounce from serve-yourself taps or buy food. You’ll pay the total when you’re ready to leave. We’ll need to know if you’re attending so we can get a name card made up for you and also have an accurate count of attendees. In order to keep things manageable, please invite a maximum of two guests.

You’re free to wear whatever you like to the mixer, but please avoid wearing t-shirts that might offend some of your former classmates.

Valley Country Club – August 17, 2024 – 5 to 9 PM

A classy place for the Class of 1974! We have a nice sit-down dinner planned with a choice of entrees and desserts, fun activities before/during/after dinner, a cash bar, a drink station (water/lemonade/iced tea) and — if you’re still as much fun as you were in high school — a live band playing all of your favorite hits for listening or dancing. The band will be in a separate room so those who want to continue conversing with old friends can still do so.

There is a dress code, referred to as “country club casual“. That means “clean, presentable clothing in good condition and not offensive to others. All men’s shirts must have collars (polo/golf shirts are fine), no hoodies, and jeans are OK if they have no holes, rips and tears.”

The entree choices for dinner are:

  • Herb-Roasted Airline Chicken Breast with Classic Creamy Mashed Potatoes ($40)
  • Vegetable Napoleon (Vegan) with Herb-Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes ($40)
  • 6-Ounce Center Cut Filet Mignon with Roasted Seasonal Vegetable Medley ($45)
  • Mediterranean Roasted Salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf ($50)

Still hungry? The dessert choices (optional) are:

  • Chocolate Torte with Wild Berry Sauce ($11.50)
  • New York Cheesecake with Salted Caramel Sauce ($10)

Once again, we need your response on this form if you will attend any of the reunion events. You can either fill it out in your web browser and pay securely online (via Stripe), or click here if you wish to print the form and send in your payment by check.

A fee has been added to the entree prices to cover the costs of the room rental, country club staff, the band, taxes, tips, and other incidentals. We’re also asking our Saturday night guests to cover credit/debit card processing costs with a small fee. Dinner Cost and Credit Card Fee

The entree and dessert prices below include an extra fee to cover room rental, setup, staff, taxes, and gratuities. In addition, you will be charged a credit/debit card fee of 30¢ + 2.9% of your total bill.

Like everything else, costs for banquets such as this have risen significantly. We have done our best to get the prices to a reasonable level and hope that you decide to join us at the dinner!
